I have a position available working with our 30 year old special needs daughter. The position is for Saturdays at 6:00pm to Monday morning at 9:00am. The position will include showering, personal hygiene, meal prep, community outings such as walks, shopping, the library, and other activities. She loves social interactions, being out and about in the community and generally just being busy. Our daughter has a speech delay, fine motor delay and requires assistance in all aspects of life. She is a very happy and social young lady. We are looking for a super energetic, lively young lady to join our team. Our daughter relates to people in her own age group as she is looking for a “girl friend” relationship. This person must be reliable, have their own car, have a current police check/vulnerable persons check. We are in Legacy in the SE and the position is available immediately.

When picking up from school- take home and get them a snack Weekend evening- evening snack, brush teeth and put to bed.

We are looking for a female staff for Johanna for a few hours a day support, Mon-Sat, max. 20 hours per week. This could require some flexibility surrounding the schedule. Saturdays are not always required, but could be possible again on Johanna's needs. Johanna is a Type 1 diabetic, so you would need to possess skills pertaining to her diagnosis and management. Willing to learn is also considered if you do not possess this skill. Johanna's current needs are morning support from 10 am - 1pm, again this can be flexible, meal preparation, grocery shopping, companionship, transportation needs to an activity, healthy living support with walks or perhaps going to the gym or classes, support meeting peers, accessing her community in a meaningful way.

Care and play with child aged 7 with ADHD

I am a mother to a 5.5 year old on the spectrum ( ASD). He is happy, adventures, curious . He's very coordinated and active and does very well outdoors . He is very social and likes making friends wherever we go, though sometimes a language barrier might get in a way of having a longer dialogue. I am looking for a respite nanny who is currently studying or professional in working with children with ASD for 5 days a week and one weekend day. The hours will be extended once summer is here. The work would include relationship building, supporting self regulation, supporting social communication and think, speech and language development and reading , maintaining routine and meal prep. The employment opportunity is flexible based on meeting the needs of my son, you and myself. A good fit and valued work relationship is the priority. A driver's license is plus even if you don't have a car. The person best suited to this position would be someone who enjoys kids, has a genuine interest in children with special needs, is patient, caring and compassionate, is creative and likes to be physically active. Wage starts at 30 $/hr but can be as high as 35$+/hr based on example.

Looking for a person to assist our child with in home and community services

I am looking for some one to talk my daughter out in the community. She likes going for walks, playing at the playground and Starbucks tea.

I will be doing medical treatment at hospital downtown for four days over two weeks (Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on April 30th, ending on May 9th). I need a PHW to come pick me up at the hospital after the treatment is done, at around 8:30 am, then accompany me while I walk from the hospital back to my apartment, a 15 minute walk away. Looking for support with outside activities, some assistance with meal preparation when needed. Sarah likes to do anything involving animals. Activities that involve some exercise are also good.
